Three Barrels Brandy

The ECD of VCCP London was a big fan of my poster work for Spoon and hired me to breathe new life into an aging brand: the UK's number one selling brandy, Three Barrels.

We created an eccentric old-money family living in fictional Sippinghurst Manor — something along the lines of a British aristocratic version of the cast of Arrested Development.

A full website at thehousebrandy.com featured my artwork on every single page. Each page represented a different room of the house (kitchen, drawing room, library, trophy room) where visitors could learn recipes, get Spotify playlists and play Sudoku.

Portraits and bios of the family members rounded out the site, and visitors had the chance to enter contests with elaborate prizes. They even featured a page about me and my artwork for the site.

In addition to the highly interactive website, we designed several major email campaigns and OOH advertising including 96-sheet billboards across London and posters in underground subway stations.

Limited edition glass tumblers featuring my character artwork were produced and packaged as premiums given away with bottles of Three Barrels Brandy sold in UK liquor stores.

As a result of our work, Three Barrels became the leading brandy for adults 25-35 years old, reaped a revenue increase of over £2 million, and picked up an award for brand reinvention.
