New section added: Music!
From 2003 to 2006 I played bass in a North Carolina based band called THE NEIN. My bandmates were Finn Cohen and Robert Biggers (both formerly of the White Octave) and Dale Flattum (formerly of Steel Pole Bath Tub and Milk Cult, aka visual artist TOOTH). We had a lot of fun recording and touring as much as we possibly could, releasing two EPs, an LP and a 7" single while I was with the band. I moved to Portland in early 2006, Dale relocated to Minneapolis later that year, and soon Finn found himself in Moscow as the music editor for the Moscow Times newspaper.
I was getting nostalgic this week and decided to add a music section to the site. You can stream every song I recorded with the Nein, as well as live tracks from my 2008 stint with the Rosebuds.
